Swim, bike, run... run... bike... sometimes climb, otherwise geek out, probably in Linux, and sometimes hang out, probably at one of the mile-end cafe's or maybe down the main.

My name is Matthew Adie, I live in Mile-End in Montreal, I've lived here a while, and will a while yet.

I love bikes and cycling, but I also love running (especially trail running). When I'm running and I see a cyclist I get jealous, and when I'm cycling and I see a runner I think, “why aren't I doing that". Turns out I also love racing, did my first Marathon in 2006 (Sept 10).
 
I work at a University, I love computers, I love Linux (Gentoo in particular), I love wasting time, I love coffee, and I really love coffee.

I used to be truly skilled at hanging out, and while I still have my moments, they are fewer and farther between.

Age has made music less relevant to my life, but I used to be defined by it. These days I mostly just listen to it, periodically dance to it, and sometimes go see shows.
