Coffee craving... every day at 3:00 pm.

No, not what would I do. I think I often (thought not always) do what I would do... I think it will be more interesting and fun to write a simultaneous fake life.

Hmmmm, a parallel life blog... what did I do? what would I have done? My fictional and my actual.. what would they look like side by side? I wonder if it would be fun or depressing.

I live in an age of moment. Everything so fast so slow. This moment falls into focus while others are lost, though possibly recorded for future viewing. Reliving the present past in the future present. I live in an age of moment, a moment where I sip my coffee and watch a Saturday morning cartoon. A moment when I pause to reflect on how little time I have to reflect if I choose leave the moment.

It's getting cold outside my window. If I blink a week will pass and I'll be frozen to my chair.

I really like the idea of this thing, and despite my rusty writing skills, I may actually give it a try next year.

not since i've smoked
have i coughed so reliably
the breath
    tickle caught
           a moment
the question of will
it goes softly
   hung a moment 
        harsh release
        bent over
is it over

i don't miss my smoker's cough

burnt out
too many people
too much talk
booze driven
fun but

an end
i need sleep
i need quiet
i need to flow
through my habits

i'm not 20 anymore
that life is no longer mine
